It does not always go exactly as planned, after doing excavation and base prep. We did like how the footings for the deck looked, after doing measurements we noticed the deck had an almost 5" slope on it, so we re leveled the deck and replaced the footings so it sits nicely and compliment the new broom finished concrete pad.
