Members of the Aylmer Kinsmen Club joined Mayor Jack Couckuyt at the raising of the Kin Canada flag on Friday February 14, 2025. The Town proclaimed Saturday February 22, 2025 as “Kin Canada Day of Kindness” and February 16-22, 2025 as “Kin Canada Week”. This proclamation recognizes and honours the contributions of the Kinsmen Club to the community. The Kinsmen Canada flag will be flown throughout the third week of February as a symbol of appreciation for The Kinsmen Club of Aylmer.

The 80th Aylmer Kinsmen Santa Claus Parade is coming up fast! Here are some reminders for those attending or putting in a float:

1. No float registration is required. Simply arrive at the Aylmer Fairgrounds between 12 and 1 PM, so you can be placed in the lineup and all final float preparations can be completed before we get underway.

2. Are you bringing horses to the parade? You'll need a p**p plan to keep our roads clean for all other participants. We really don't want the 100+ members of the Burlington Teen Tour Band walking through horse manure.

3. Are you giving out candy? Please do not throw it to spectators or on the road. Safety first.

4. Are you spectating? Please keep an eye on your kids. Make sure they stay well clear of the floats. Again, safety first.

5. The parade begins at 2 PM sharp on Saturday, November 23.

We are SO excited to see you Aylmer!
