We spent most of the summer working on the house this year. The house looks great but it was boring. For all of us. So we took a day off to spend as a family on a one day road trip to the Grotto in Tobermory. The weather was ominous when we left home, it was a four hour drive to get there, one kid got car sick, but it was all worth it when we arrived. The weather cleared, the kid felt better and we had an incredible day swimming, exploring and spending some well earned family time together. If you’re looking for a little adventure not too far from home, we highly recommend checking Tobermory out.
