We feel very lucky to be able to snag a waterfront site at Presqu'ile Provincial Park . Being able to walk down a few steps from our trailer into the water is what Dory loves the most! She also learned that bumble bees 🐝 are friendly!

What a beautiful day. My mom and sister-in-law joined me in Ottawa for Katie’s Katie Bond second bridal shower. Kaddeem’s family did an amazing job celebrating the bride-to-be. We had the pleasure of meeting more of Kaddeem’s family and Katie’s friends, played some fun games, and had delicious homemade sandwiches and sweets. We even had a last minute visit with Ellen Bond . I have had such a fun week in NS hanging out with while wrote his exams. Having join us yesterday was perfect timing for visiting , touring , having the most amazing dinner at , and then lunch today at followed by a beer garden with music at .

We had a wonderful celebration for Katie at her bridal shower on Saturday. So many people worked hard to put it together and family and friends came from Kingston, Peterborough, Ottawa and Nova Scotia to join the festivities. Thank you to and for helping me. And thank you to all the fabulous women who joined us, especially the groom’s mother, aunt and grandmother. We all loved getting to know Kaddeem’s family a little better.
