It’s so easy to look at someone else’s life and wonder why they reached certain milestones before we did. A career, a home, a relationship, a family—or any of the “firsts” we thought would have happened by now.

Even when we know life isn’t a race, comparison can still hurt.

But we aren’t all travelling the same road. We don’t begin from the same place, face the same obstacles or need the same amount of time to become who we’re meant to be.

Someone else’s progress does not diminish your own. Your life is not late—it is unfolding on its own timeline.

Summers are short.

Don't spend the whole weekend thinking about next week.

Forget about work for a little while.
Put the to-do list aside.
Spend time with the people (and pets) who matter.
Roll the windows down.
Get outside.

The emails, chores, and responsibilities will still be there on Tuesday.

For now... just enjoy the ride.
