I am so excited to present our new Flagship Home Inspection Logo and branding done by the incredibly talented who’s a local Graphic Designer here in the HRM! Shayla made everything so seamless - I sent her an idea and I vision I had for the brand and she completely knocked it out of the park.

One of the standard inclusions in all our inspection packages is a full scope of thermal imaging. Sometimes problems occur in places we can’t see. With the added benefit of our FLIR cameras, we are able to provide our clients a full range of inspection services! How often do you check under the sink. Not for a dishwasher tab or to put something in the trash, but actually look at what’s going on under there.
Today we were conducting a presale inspection for a client when we came across this crack in the drainage pipe.
Had we not found this, the client could have filled the basin of the sink, drained it after use, and a massive leak would have occurred.

Hi!! Big shout out to all of you that have followed the page so far. I figured it was as good a time as any to introduce myself.
My name is Matt Shallo and I’m the owner and lead inspector here at Flagship Home Inspections. This business was a long time in the making. A little about me. I’m originally from Cape Breton but made my way to Halifax after years of living in Alberta
I was fortunate enough to serve as a police officer in Alberta for years before talking a chance and moving back to Nova Scotia!
My experience lyes in contracting, plumbing, and electrical work since moving back east.
Home inspection is such an important part of the home buying process and with my extensive experience in attention to detail and contracting, I truly believe I can ensure the home you move in to is a home I would recommend to my closest family and friends.
