This weekends project.. Refinishing old hardwood floors. First had to get all the paint off the floors, then strip the wax and old varathane using a stripping agent. Then sanded smooth with a floor sander using three different grits of sandpaper. After this step I stained the floor to color match any of the heavily sanded areas to the existing color of the floor. Tomorrow it will be coated with a fresh layer of varathane and this beautiful hardwood floor will last for many more years to come.
