Election | The Oct. 24 Municipal Election will be conducted by phone and online ONLY (NO PAPER BALLOTS). What does this mean for residents?
➡️ Voting can be done anywhere that you have internet access OR by using your touch-tone phone or cellphone.
➡️ Voting Assistance Centres will be located at the Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre and Thurlow Community Centre for those who may require assistance registering to vote, advance voting OR voting on election day. All votes at these centres will be cast electronically using equipment supplied by the City - there will be NO paper ballots used at these centres.
➡️ Information on how to vote - including the website and phone number to cast your vote - will be mailed to you in your Voter Information Letter at the beginning of October. If you do not receive your letter by Oct. 12, please visit one of the Voter Assistance Centres or City Hall to ensure you are added to the voters’ list.
