Simply Stellar Hideways

Since January the Nook has been quiet while we await approval of our STR license. I have been thankful for my time there and took the opportunity to update a few things around the cottage that I couldn't really do when we have guests. We have a few last steps we need to take in order to put our place back on Airbnb, but hopefully (please oh please) that we will be back again before the summer really hits.

I honestly could not be happier with how this project turned out. This deck is fully enclosed with access for dogs to a doggie pen. There are also two sliding gates for access to the full backyard. It's definitely going to be an enjoyable spot for us and our guests!!

Enjoying a cup of tea while I read and listen to the sounds of construction... yep... things are happening here at the Nook. Wait till you see it.

Aevery summer, snapping turtles make their nest on our little beach. One day, I will get to see these little guys hatch...

Lovely garden center with exceptional plants for sale and a garden display that will be your inspiration!!! I was lucky enough to find this spot on a getaway with my mum. We were both blown away and I just had to share!

We spent some time expanding our front garden and adding some beautiful flowering plants. Our goal is to have a bloomin' good cottafe garden!
