🍂🦃 THANKSGIVING WEEKEND = FAMILY FUN IN THE KAWARTHAS! 🎃🍁
Looking for something fun to do with the family this Thanksgiving weekend? From pumpkin patches and corn mazes to wagon rides, crafts, running and plenty of activities for the kids, there’s lots happening around Kawartha Lakes. Here’s your guide to getting out, exploring local and making some Thanksgiving memories together!
🏃 Fenelon Falls Turkey Trot & Family Fun Run — Saturday, Oct. 10 at 10 AM
Held at Garnet Graham Beach Park in Fenelon Falls, with 1K family/kids, 5K and 10K distances. 2026 registration is now closed, but spectators are welcome to come out and cheer everyone on.

🚜 Harvest Happenings — Saturday, Oct. 10, 11 AM–4 PM
Head to Maryboro Lodge Museum in Fenelon Falls for wagon rides, a maze, tractor pull, turkey shoot, Gourd’s Wild Ride, axe throwing and a community campfire. Wagon rides run 11 AM–3 PM, with even more activities throughout the day.

📚 Kawartha Lakes Public Library Family Fun — Saturday, Oct. 10
The Lindsay Branch has a Family Fun Drop-In from 10:30 AM–4:30 PM, featuring STEAM kits and children’s stories. The Bethany Branch has its Family Fun Drop-In from 10:30 AM–1:30 PM, and Bobcaygeon has Storytime from 10:30–11 AM.

🎨 Buckhorn Fall Harvest Craft Show — Saturday & Sunday, Oct. 10–11
Visit Buckhorn Community Centre & Athletic Association and browse more than 85 Ontario artisans and makers, with crafts, seasonal décor, baked goods, preserves and more. Saturday runs 10 AM–5 PM and Sunday 10 AM–4 PM. Admission is $5, with children under 12 free.

🎃 Buckhorn Pumpkinfest — Saturday & Sunday, Oct. 10–11, 11 AM–5 PM
Pumpkinfest takes place at Buckhorn Berry Farm, 3055 Berrie Rd. Enjoy the pumpkin patch and a full lineup of included fall activities. Admission for 2026 is $13.49 + tax for children 2–12 and $14.49 + tax for adults; pumpkins are extra. Closed Thanksgiving Monday.

🌽 McQuaid’s Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch — Omemee
Spend some time at McQuaid’s Country Market exploring the 9-acre corn maze, complete with an interactive Passport Game. There are also wagon rides to the pumpkin patch, family games, photo opportunities and seasonal farm fun. Admission is $15 for ages 12+, $12 for children under 12, and free for ages 3 and under.

🎃 StellMar Farm — Little Britain
Visit StellMar Farm at 136 Sand Bar Rd. to see award-winning giant pumpkins and squash, explore the haunted corn maze and browse fall crafts, décor, gourds and more. They are open Thanksgiving Monday from 10 AM–5 PM.
