Market Update for November 2022📊

Another relatively steady month in the market with some slight upwards growth in selling prices! The market is starting to cool down as the winter and holiday season approaches.

The most recent interest rate announcement on December 7th raised rates another .5% to 4.25% for the overnight lending rate. With the suppressed demand of the winter months there might be some more changes in the real estate market to come!

Investors and first time buyers will continue to capitalize on this opportunity to purchase a property at some deep discounted prices!

Market Update for October 2022📊

Since August the market has been pretty steady. As we see the winter begin, the fall demand should start to phase out and the buying opportunities will continue!

Both Peel and Vaughan saw a slight decrease in average selling price with Caledon seeing a massive jump, this could be due to larger properties skewing the data.

With one more rate announcement happening on December 7th of this year we will see if the Bank of Canada raises rates to or past the 4% mark!

Market Update for September 2022📊

The beginning of the fall stayed relatively consistent with August numbers. Despite the most recent interest rate adjustment, the average sold price slightly increased from last month in the Peel region.

The fall typically brings a bit more demand back to the market, and average days on market, active listings and home sales have stayed relatively steady.

Market Update for August 2022📊
                                                     The month of August was pretty steady for real estate with most of the Peel region only having a slight decrease in average selling price and sales volume rising!

The next interest rate announcement is set for September 7th. The bank of Canada is expected to raise rates once again although inflation is slowly starting to come down which is a positive sign for the economy going forward!
