Five months ago, I got my real estate licence and stepped into a business where everyone starts with the same thing: no clients, no sales, and no experience.

This week, I had the privilege of representing buyers in the purchase of a $4.3 million list-price waterfront home on Bowen Island—the sixth-highest sale in the island’s history and the highest sale since August 2021.
The sale itself is exciting, but what means the most to me is what it represents.

We are happy to report the sale today of this outstanding WATERFRONT property on Bowen Island. Every time I showed this house everyone was just wow’d by the setting and the incredible views.

This is a bittersweet sale for the Sellers, a lovely couple who pretty much everyone on the island knows! They are well-loved and involved with so many organizations on the island. When I say they will be missed that is an understatement. They’ve made this property a gorgeous full time home for 25 years but it has been in the family since the 50’s. We had a hat trick on Good Friday and received final subject removal on 3 properties!

We are so happy to report the sale of 2 listings, one which sold in a week. We worked with Buyers on the 3rd property. Congratulations to all our happy clients!

What’s exciting for us is that 2 of these sales involved Buyers having first to sell their properties. This is very common today but it doesn’t always work out. Each Buyer sold their property in less than a month. Kudos to and - well done!
