The Region of Durham is proposing a new mixed affordable and market-rate housing development in south Oshawa.

The development at 416-448 Malaga Rd. would be comprised of a 12-storey apartment building, two six-storey apartment buildings and two three-storey townhouses totalling 417 units. Approximately half of these units will be rented at market rates, with the other half being dedicated affordable and rent-geared-to-income units.
