Before real estate became our career… it was just a stick in the mud and a BIG dream. 🏡❤️
Flashback to 2005! That’s me, standing proudly beside a wooden stake marking where our very first home would be built. 🥹
Kyle and I were just TWO MONTHS away from getting married, and we had purchased our first detached home in Brampton. 2,200 sq. ft. for an unbelievable $299,000! 🤯
I still laugh remembering how I would look at homes in Woodbridge listed for $500,000–$600,000, and Kyle would tell me, “Don’t even dream about those houses. They’re way too expensive!” 😂 Oh, how times have changed!
But what I remember most isn’t the price. It’s the excitement. ❤️
We would actually DRIVE OUT just to visit our little “stick in the mud” and imagine the life we were about to build together.
Little did we know that this home would eventually become my VERY FIRST real estate sale! We sold it when an exciting business opportunity brought us to Bradford.
And who could have imagined that all these years later, helping other families buy and sell homes would become our livelihood?
From our first home to helping hundreds of others find theirs… what a journey it’s been. ❤️
If only that girl standing in the snow knew what the future had in store!
