🚨 GTA AIR QUALITY ALERT (🚨 VERY HIGH RISK) 🚨

The GTA is currently under an air quality warning with an AQHI rating of 10+. Wildfire smoke is blanketing the area and conditions are expected to last into the weekend. Everyone is at risk, especially children, seniors, and those with respiratory conditions.

How to stay safe today:

🏡 Stay indoors: Keep all windows and doors tightly closed.

💨 Filter your air: Run your HVAC system or use a portable air purifier (avoid ozone-emitting ones).

😷 Mask up: If you must go outside, wear a well-fitted N95 respirator to filter out fine particles.

🏃‍♂️ Avoid exertion: Cancel outdoor workouts and reduce strenuous physical activity.

🏢 Find clean air: If your home gets too hot or stuffy, seek relief at a local library, mall, or community centre.

Never take your loved ones for granted because you never know when their hearts will stop beating and you won’t have a chance to say goodbye.

Caring for our aging parents is more than a responsibility, it’s a full time commitment. Each day begins with purpose. It’s a role filled with love, exhaustion, patience and quiet sacrifice. It requires a team effort of entire family and friends.

Currently, most of my time is being spent at home with my in laws. However, I am very thankful to my family, friends and wonderful colleagues who always support me.

Luckily, lot of support is given through government funded programs in Canada 🇨🇦. Yes, each country has its own pros and flaws but I have always admired this country as there are countless programs available here for everyone. We can either waste our time on negativity or use the available tools and move on through all phases of life gracefully.

There have been rumours since last few months that RE/MAX will be taken over by another big brand.

Today it has been confirmed. REAL Brokerage is acquiring RE/MAX Holdings. But here’s what that actually means, because there’s a difference between the holding company and the brand.

RE/MAX Holdings, the parent corporation, will become Real REMAX Group. That’s the entity that trades on the stock market. That’s the corporate structure changing.

The RE/MAX brand? It continues. Both RE/MAX and Real will operate as separate brands under the combined company. The press release confirms it.

Currently real estate is going through lot of changes. We will see the results in coming years.
