Can Toronto Finally Turn the Corner in 2027?
As we look ahead to 2027, Toronto’s real estate market stands at a pivotal moment. After an extended period of adjustment, buyers are still finding more options on the market, which means there’s real room to negotiate—a shift I’ve seen firsthand across the GTA. TD forecasts that Ontario’s housing landscape will start to improve as the year unfolds, following a challenging 2026. If borrowing costs ease, we could see a welcome rebound in transactions, though the ongoing condo supply issue remains a factor to watch. Rather than expecting prices to jump back to the dizzying heights of the pandemic era, stabilization is likely first, laying a more solid foundation for future growth.
