VOTING ! Do you complain about things in your area or how things need “to be fixed” in your town or city? Did you know that many politicians get into power because a few people took the time to vote? We as a community we let the voters decide who gets in to office and to run things for US but the problem is too many people think their vote won’t make a difference. I use to think that too but when I started to complain to the CITY about things I realized WE need change and a better run CITY with accountability of
MY TAX DOLLARS.

This is YOUR hard earned money that pays for STUFF like infrastructure; parks; garbage pick up, transit, programs for your kids and rec centres, senior programs and the many buildings the city owns to house government offices; fire and police stations, rec centres, buses and so much more.

YOUR “household expenses” in the past year have gone way up with food, car gas, utilities, kids sports costs etc. NOW imagine you had 100 households to fund and they all had increased. Has your heart rate increased thinking about it? WELL imagine how your City officials feel with the cost of gas going up for all the vehicles they have in the city. Wait til winter comes and we need our roads plowed to get to work. YES some services are done by a contracted business BUT that company has to pass on their increased costs or they will not be able to do the job. WHAT NO SNOW PLOWS?

Your VOTE matters. Ask questions and talk to present councillors and new candidates to see:
1) what is their solution AND vision
2) what is their experience in running a multi million dollar budget effectively
3) what did they do before being a candidate
4) can you TALK to them on the same day you call them OR get another person OR worse you never get a call back.

Only YOU can investigate to your satisfaction as to the worthiness of that candidate “Getting YOUR Vote”. Please do your part to save your tax money and help your family live in a well run efficient, fiscally responsible, family friendly, clean and safe city.

It IS YOUR choice… OR don’t complain about ANYTHING ever again about your city. GO VOTE.

YOU need an agent who finds out what is happening in Brampton. I, Debbie attended City of Brampton Council meeting from 9:30 to 1:15 then I left. Too long BUT very interesting. Private citizens requested to speak on behalf of a delegation on each of the following subjects:
Noise, Garbage, Parking, Grass cutting, property Standards,
Enforcement issues, reporting and showing residents an Audit of costs VS results/outcome AND 311 program.

Outcome: the Mayor and Councillors all listened, asked questions, made suggestions and asked for more clarity from the departments.

Councillors have these same issues where they live SO part of the outcome was to request a Roundtable committee to come up with a plan about all the above issues and hopefully make things run better and more efficiently and cost effectively too.

Most of the Speakers were asked to join the Roundtable after they finished speaking.
OF course I am going to see IF I can get on that Roundtable

Yes that IS a robot at Realtor quest convention that I attended today with my protege. It took my picture and printed it. I told the person at that booth the last time a Robot did something was our waiter at a Sushi Restaurant and it delivered our sushi order. Fun spending the day with Akay but it was nor as good as years gone by. Too many Brokerages recruiting, web and AI promotion.
Im too old school and like Person to Person conversation and discussion…. Then finish with a hug!
