That advertised builder price may come with an important catch. 👀
Some builders advertise prices that already assume certain HST rebates will be credited or assigned to the builder.
⚠️ If the builder’s price assumes a rebate and you later turn out to be ineligible, you could be responsible for the difference.
And remember: HST new housing rebates generally apply to new or substantially renovated homes, typical resale homes generally exempt from GST/HST.
