One of the biggest misconceptions is that everyone should buy as soon as they can. The reality is that the best decision depends on your goals, your finances, and your timeline.

Before I recommend buying, I always ask these three questions:

✅ How long do you plan to stay?
✅ Will you still have an emergency fund after your down payment?
✅ Can you comfortably afford the monthly payment without stretching your budget?

If the answer is “no” to any of these, waiting may actually be the smarter financial decision.
