Our latest Board meeting focused on four key areas that directly impact our members: • Meetings with CREA on upcoming votes around the Cost of Living Adjustment and Legal Defense Fund, including what it means if they don’t pass • Ongoing advocacy with OREA, including addressing development charges that have increased significantly and continue to impact housing supply • Community initiatives moving forward, including our golf tournament in support of Jason Wheelhouse and future plans for 2027 • Committee progress focused on advocacy, member education, and community involvement We’re continuing to stay informed, proactive, and focused on representing your interests at every level. OREA RECONNECT social event to be May 28 5-7 at Flux Brews. OREA will be sending out a link to register for the event (free courtesy them!) two weeks prior. Food and 2 drink tickets to be provided.
