📚 YOU — 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Starting my October favourites with one of my favourite psychological thrillers — You by Caroline Kepnes.

What makes this book so unsettling isn't necessarily that it's scary. It's that you're experiencing everything from Joe's perspective.

You're inside his head while he rationalizes obsession, crossing boundaries and some seriously disturbing behaviour — and somehow Kepnes occasionally manages to make him funny, charming or even relatable. Then you remember exactly whose side of the story you're reading. 😬

I also love the way this book plays with social media, privacy and just how much information we willingly put online for complete strangers to find.

Spooky rating: 👻👻👻👻/5 More disturbing than traditionally scary — which is exactly my kind of thriller.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 and absolutely one of my Spooky Season favourites.
