Unlocking Homes & Unveiling Adventures

I recently had an amazing one-day trip to Boldt Castle! I drove to Gananoque and stayed in a charming bed & breakfast for a night. The next day, I took a ferry through the stunning 1000 Islands to Heart Island, where Boldt Castle is located.
A bit of history: Boldt Castle was built by George C. Boldt, a wealthy hotel magnate, as a tribute to his wife, Louise. Unfortunately, construction halted abruptly in 1904 when Louise died, and the castle was left unfinished for over 70 years. Now restored, it's a beautiful and fascinating place to visit.
I highly recommend this trip to anyone who loves history, architecture, and scenic views!
