One trip, two jobs. 💪
Since we were already headed to the dump, we added this Oak & Ember Finishing deck tear-down to the load and passed the savings on to the customer. It won’t always work out this way, but when it does, we’re happy to pass the savings along. Good thing the dump was only a block away! 😅 Don’t worry—the load was secure, it just looked sketchier than it was.

Every job I’ve had has taught me something valuable, and over the years I’ve built a wide range of practical skills.

I genuinely enjoy learning new techniques and refining the ones I already have.

Right now I’m training in commercial flooring, refining my heat welds and learning the details that separate good work from great work. Once I’m confident my heat welds meet my standards, commercial sheet vinyl repairs and installations will become another service offered through Gone in a Haul.

While most people know me for junk removal and home repairs, I also offer flat roofing repairs on TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen systems.

My goal has always been simple: keep building my skills so when someone calls, there’s a good chance I can help.

Quick stop in Simcoe today while I was out quoting a job.

Took care of a leaking eavestrough corner — simple seal to stop the leak and prevent further water damage.

Was a bit wet out, so this was a quick fix to get them by — can always come back when it’s dry for a proper repair if needed.

Not a cosmetic repair, just something to avoid a bigger issue for now.

Don’t normally take on small one-offs like this, but right place right time.
