A father - son building team, Gordon and Stephen Tobey have built over 200 homes, the majority of which enjoy the designation of being Certified R-2000 homes. As engineers, having graduated from the same University - 29 years apart, they have over 40 years of combined building experience. Gordon Tobey Developments enjoys a stellar reputation in the home building industry not only in Ontario but across Canada. Our consistent success is well documentated with numerous awards such as R-2000 Builder of the Year 2011, General Business of the Year Award 2008, CHBA Most Outstanding Custom Design (under 2000 square feet) 2005, and many others. As proud as we are of the recognition enjoyed from the building industry, it's our customers that really come first. This year marks the 50th Anniversary of Gordon Tobey Developments Ltd. In honour of this 50 year milestone, we wanted to do more than just celebrate our past - we want to build for the future and give back to the community we feel blessed to be part of. That's why we volunteered our time, talents and gifts to assist the Nature Conservancy of Canada in the creation of a new two-kilometer educational walking trail at NCC's Brighton Wetland Nature Reserve.

This upcoming long weekend, we encourage you to take a walk! Get out and enjoy the beauty of nature!

This trail is located just on the south side of County Rd 64 between Harbour street and Boes Road.
