We know some of you out there absolutely LOVE WINTER, and while most of us are quite ready for spring, you’re wishing winter would hang on a bit longer. We have a solid 2 feet of snow. Just sayin’ 😉

7:30 pm. Supposed to keep snowing like this for another 24 hours. Highway 17 closed for about 3 hours now. ❄️

3:00pm Sunday March 15, 2026. 5 hours in, haven’t seen the small island for a couple hours, 4 inches of snow, wind getting gustier 🌬️❄️

❄️ 2 1/2 hours in, can’t see the middle island, an inch or so of snow, and there’s a group out there on the lake ice fishing. Wind slowly picking up…then it will get wild!
