Happy Family Day! Did you know that The Enfield Group is a third-generation family business?

Our President, Greg Fraleigh, continues the Fraleigh family legacy of excellence in property management, and has developed single family homes, affordable housing complexes, luxury townhomes and Hamilton’s premier luxury condominium, The Madison, on Hamilton’s Mountain Brow.

Greg’s father, William Paul Fraleigh, took over the family business in his 20s, building numerous apartment buildings under the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), as well as commercial warehouses and parking lots, and introduced The Enfield Group to the creation of affordable housing. A pioneer in aluminum windows during the 1960s, William Paul created many hardware patents and was trading internationally prior to the establishment of organized government trade missions.

Prior to that, Greg’s grandfather, William John Fraleigh, established the beginnings of The Enfield Group when he opened a window and door company on Hamilton’s Beach Road in the early 1930s. The company motto, “If we don’t service you, someone else will!” is part of William John’s legacy.

Just as in a biological family, the structure of the community is designed to maintain the well-being of each member and a harmonious society. Within that comes boundary-setting, guidance and information giving.

Our office hours are 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

5. Support for our team is important, even the four-legged team members! Every so often, Buster, a rescue dog from Muskoka, comes into the office with his caregiver, Office Manager Elaine Symington. We love having Buster’s bounce in the office!
