Bridge Mortgage?

When I first met Trisha and Steve, they were in the process of coming Home to Canada. They had recently given birth to their twins and did not know where to start ... It was also in the middle of the pandemic.

We started by "watching" the local market, getting to know what was going to be within reach once they arrived. They then worked on securing employment and mortgage approvals and prepared for the final part of their journey.

It wasn't easy, with the rapidly increasing market values, but the effort they put in paid off and they found a place in their preferred area.

"Nathan helped my husband and I with our very first home purchase. We’d just returned to Canada after living overseas for many years, and we were balancing a lot between our big international move, starting new jobs and raising young kids. We needed an agent we could rely on to navigate us through the process as first-time buyers.

Nathan came recommended from a family member and he was an excellent fit for us – he genuinely listened to our wants and needs, took the time to thoroughly explain everything to us, and guided us without pushing us. He also provided great referrals."

Thanks so much for your support, Nathan!

You're relaxing in your backyard and look up - your neighbours can all see you.

You're gardening or swimming in the pool - your neighbours are watching.

You're cooking RIBS on the bar-b-que - your neighbours are giving you the puppy dog eyes.

You're having a nap on the hammock - awoken by the neighbours having a conversation.

Does it feel like the walls are closing in and you have no privacy?

It's time.

Time for you to upgrade your space, to upgrade your lifestyle ... to upgrade your sanctuary.

Perhaps you’re scared about the process, you have enough stress on your plate already!

But what if there was a clear process and someone to handle all the bumps in the road?

I can help you do this.

With our Breakaway Method, we can set up a clear plan to get your house ready to sell and help you find the home that will meet all your family’s needs.

You started working from home in 2020, it was meant to be a temporary solution.

Now, a few years later, you're working in a hybrid situation - sometimes back in office and sometimes at home.

You're getting used to the new routines and trying to be the most productive you can be. Setting up the workstation at the kitchen table in the mornings, taking it all down before dinner. Or leaving everything in place, no longer eating as a family at the table.

You're now eating on the sofa, watching TV and the kids are in the basement or their rooms. No longer finding out how their day was, what successes they had or what they've struggled with.

It's time to take back family dinner!

Your home has become a work space and you need to find a spot that allows you to walk away at the end of office hours.

But WHERE?

All the bedrooms are in use, the basement is where the kids go to hang out with friends after school and the main level doesn't work either.

You need a bigger home, or at least one with a better layout for your new lifestyle.

But where do you start?

Can you afford to move? Will your home sell fast enough? How much will your mortgage increase? Do you have too many "fix ups" to complete in order to sell?

It can all be overwhelming.

Our Breakaway method was designed to help answer these questions.

Looking for something to do this weekend that has minimal costs? Keep on reading ...

Growing up, we lived on a small ranch in Alberta for a time. We also had friends that lived in a rural setting and and others that worked large farms.

After moving back to Ontario, and more so once I started driving, I use to enjoy driving the Niagara Region, especially the Parkway (between Niagara on the Lake and Niagara Falls).

Elle and I would stop along the way to picnic, or to support some of the local farmers by purchasing fruit at their stands. There are even places to park and walk around or bike for a bit.

While this route is a bit out of the way now, we still enjoy going for a country drive.

It gets us away from all the in town traffic.

We can admire the horses grazing in the fields and watch the various crops grow throughout the seasons.

It also allows us to find new places to buy local fruit, vegetables and even flowers.

A great way to spend an afternoon on the weekend!

I first met Kevin while helping his brother and sister-in-law buy their first step-up home.

We went to work to help him find his first home.

A few years later, it was time for Kevin - and his now wife - to move up.

We started by discussing their wants and needs in their next home. What "must haves" and the "where".

Once these were narrowed down, the search did not take long at all. They found a home in a location perfect for them and have the space to enjoy their growing family.

Here's what Kevin had to say after making the move ...

"Nathan has helped my with purchasing 2 homes now, and I would highly recommend him to anyone that is looking in to buying a new home. He is quick to answer any questions and always willing to go the extra mile for his clients. I am thoroughly satisfied with the home that he found for me this time, but if I ever move, he will be the first one that I call!"
