MAY MARKET STATS ARE OUT! 📊🏡

The May housing market in Metro Vancouver remained steady, with healthy inventory levels giving buyers more choice while prices stayed relatively stable month-to-month. ☀️ Sales were slightly lower than last year, but the market continues to move at a calm and balanced pace heading into summer.

Here’s a little breakdown:

• Home sales were 3.5% lower than May 2025.
• New listings were down 7.6% compared to last year.
• The benchmark price for all residential property types was $1,100,700.

Congrats to my amazing clients M.L & R.N you are officially real estate investors 🏡

They purchased this pre-sale during a high market, and like many buyers completing today, the market shifted before completion which created a shortfall. It’s something we’re seeing more often in today’s market with pre-sales bought at peak pricing.

But this is where strategy matters.
