Friend to friend…these are the 4 changes that I made that set me on the path to wealth building for retirement:

#1 I created a retirement company
#2 I made a business plan for my retirement company
#3 I started paying myself a salary that I could 100% spend
#4 Money is automatically transferred to the retirement company

I think the biggest win for me is knowing that I can spend 100% of the money I pay myself.

Because money is automatically being saved and invested inside the company, it gives me mental freedom. Freedom to spend without guilt because I know the company is working behind the scenes for retirement.

Your line of credit is a tool, not free money.

Too many homeowners tap into it for the wrong things. A vacation, a new car, a kitchen reno they can't really afford. Then they wonder why their equity never grows.

Used right, your line of credit can help you buy an investment property, cover a down payment while you sell, or bridge a gap during a purchase. Used wrong, it just becomes expensive debt eating into the wealth your home already built.

Before you borrow against your equity, ask what that money is actually going to do for you. And if it isn’t going to generate some sort of financial return - leave it alone.

This little condo is my secret weapon for building long-term wealth. And with it, I can make sure I don’t outlive my money.

By investing in real estate, I’ve created a backup plan for retirement to give me peace of mind. If I ever live longer than the savings I’ve set aside, I can sell this investment property. That’ll give me a solid chunk of equity to live on (and lots of Bingo money 💰).

In the meantime, the tenant’s rent is paying down the mortgage. And I’m building financial security for later.

The goal is simple: when it’s time to retire, the rental income can help support my lifestyle. And if that’s not enough, selling the property gives me a safety net that savings alone can’t match.

Real estate investing in Vancouver can be part of a retirement plan that works.

A Vision is way bigger than a Goal.

Achieving a bunch of smaller goals that you know will lead you to your Vision is the trick.

That’s my trick to moving forward. I commit to the top but only focus on taking one small step at a time.

You can’t get to the top of the hill without first hitting the bottom half or the middle or one step above the middle.

So figure out the top and start at the bottom - the rest will come.
