A rainy day never stops our hard work, so we definitely weren’t going to let it stop our BBQ either! ☔️

We had a great afternoon at the Ventana office, hosting some of our friends from BCIT/future members of the construction workforce for a BBQ! Good food, good conversations and indoor bingo made for a pretty great afternoon.

Congratulations to the four students receiving this year’s Ventana Scholarship for Excellence! 🎉

We’re proud to continue our relationship with the BCIT Architectural & Building Technology program and to support students who are working toward careers in the construction industry.

This year, we’re pleased to provide four scholarships to four students, Lucas, Matt, Parteek and Ilidor, as they continue their education and take the next steps toward their careers.

It’s always exciting to see the talent and ambition coming through the program, and we’re honoured to play a small part in supporting their journey.

It’s hard to believe it’s been one year since the completion of 19 on the Greenway. 🎉

It’s been great to see this Arbutus community come to life over the past year, providing 118 secured rental homes, including below-market housing, along the Arbutus Greenway.

Delivered in collaboration with PCI Developments and BHA Architecture, this 84,000-square-foot project reflects the importance of creating spaces that support both livability and affordability in Vancouver.

Congratulations again to the entire project team on this milestone.

There’s nothing like the traditional Ventana picnic to bring the team together! ☀️🍔🎯

Last weekend, the Ventana team got together for an afternoon of sunshine, good food, fun games like molkky, and plenty of laughs. A great way to enjoy the last stretch of summer and spend some time together outside of work.

A great day in Victoria at Meet the Generals this past Tuesday. 👏

A look back at a recent Special Projects build at UBC. 🏗️

This 12,000 sq. ft. interior renovation transformed multiple levels within an existing UBC building, including new ceilings, flooring, millwork, partitions, doors, and mechanical and electrical upgrades.

One of the project’s key features was a new interconnecting staircase between Levels 2 and 3, requiring structural modifications and careful coordination within the existing building.

Working in an active environment meant detailed planning and close coordination throughout to keep the building operating safely while construction moved forward.

Another great example of the work our Special Projects team takes on from complex renovations to detailed work within existing spaces.
