Through December, every donation to the Canadian Animal Task Force was doubled thanks to a generous $25,000.00 match from long-time supporter Heather Waddell. Heather has stood behind the Task Force for years, believing deeply in our mission and the work we do alongside you - our volunteers, donors, and supporters. Her match helps amplify the care you give and strengthens the programs that make a difference every day.
The Task Force Animal Hospital was created from a simple but powerful belief: every family deserves access to compassionate veterinary care.
In this work, there are so many moments we wish we could share with you - the quiet conversations, the heartbreak, the relief. However, the truth is, much of what we do happens too quickly, or behind the scenes, where our priority must always remain with the people and animals in front of us.
There’s red tape, sensitive casework, and vulnerable families navigating circumstances most of us can’t imagine. And in those moments, our focus isn’t on taking a photo, it’s on being present, providing care, and finding solutions.
We may be a charity that helps animals, but it almost always starts with helping people first.
