📊 July Market Update
Inventory is on the rise! 🏡 With 6,917 homes on the market, supply has reached levels we haven’t seen since before the pandemic—especially in Calgary’s newer communities where growth is booming.
Here’s what stood out this month:
✔️ Inventory up across all property types
✔️ New listings climbed 8% (3,911 homes hit the market)
✔️ Sales slowed by 12% (2,099 homes sold)
✔️ Apartments now have the highest supply (4+ months)
✔️ Detached & semi-detached homes remain balanced (3 months of supply)
What’s driving the change? Higher inventory, economic uncertainty, and competition from new builds are shifting the market, giving buyers more options than we’ve seen in years.
