๐ก Would you trade 15 extra minutes of driving for a much bigger home?
There's a reason more buyers are starting to look beyond Calgary's city limits. One thing I hear all the time is, "I want to get more home for my money," and that's completely understandable. That's why communities like Chestermere, Airdrie, and Cochrane have been attracting so much attention lately.
For many buyers, these areas offer the opportunity to own a newer home, enjoy more living space, and in some cases, have the kind of lifestyle that's difficult to find within Calgary for the same budget. Sometimes, being just 10 to 15 minutes farther from the city can make a significant difference in the size, features, and overall value of the home you can afford.
Now, does that mean moving outside Calgary is the right choice for everyone? Not at all. Some people value being closer to downtown, work, and amenities. But for many families, getting more space and more home for their budget is a trade-off they're happy to make.
So I'm curious... if you had to choose, would you rather have a larger home just outside the city or a smaller home closer to downtown Calgary?
