A mortgage pre-approval opens doors, but it isn’t an automatic guarantee you’ll walk right through to the keys. 🏡✨ Having that pre-approval letter in hand puts you in a fantastic position to shop Calgary homes with confidence, but the journey doesn't stop there. Many buyers don't realize that a pre-approval is a green light for you, but the lender still has to approve the specific property you choose.

My best advice is to treat the conditional period with complete respect: avoid changing jobs, making large purchases, or financing new furniture until the keys are physically in your hand.
