You may never believe it, but Georgia wasn’t a custom home.
She was a spec project.
Meaning, we designed and built this home without an owner attached yet. Every detail was selected by and the HBS team, guided by our own specifications, our own vision, and a whole lot of imagination.
But from the beginning, Georgia never felt generic to us.
We imagined who would live here often. A busy family of four. Maybe a pup running through the yard. Full, abundant lives. Morning routines, after-school chaos, family dinners, quiet evenings, and a home that could hold all of it beautifully.
We didn’t know them yet, but we thought about them through every stage of design and development.
And yes, we had to be a little patient while Georgia waited on the market for her people to arrive.
But when they did, it all made sense.
This home was never really “spec.”
It was theirs the whole time.
We are so honoured that Georgia was recognized with a BILD Award this year. Huge congratulations to all of the other builders nominated and awarded, who are creating beautiful, thoughtful, quality homes in our community.
