People often ask me why I chose to become a Realtor.
The full story is a long one—if you ever want to hear it, I’m always happy to grab a coffee and share ☕
At its core, real estate was a natural fit for me. I love helping people, I enjoy meeting new people, and I value the flexibility that comes with running my own business. I also happen to love driving, which definitely helps in a career that involves a lot of time on the road 😅
Being a Realtor comes with a steep learning curve and a lot of responsibility. You’re guiding people through one of the biggest purchases of their lives. It can be stressful and, at times, overwhelming or even a little lonely. It’s definitely not as “easy” as it might look—but it is an incredibly rewarding career, and no two days are ever the same.
From my perspective, success in this industry comes down to a few things: know your stuff (this is #1), don’t be afraid to ask questions, and build a strong network of trusted colleagues and partners. Be open, collaborative, and kind—just like Real Broker’s motto: Work Hard. Be Kind.
If you’ve ever thought about getting your licence, you’re a brand-new agent feeling overwhelmed or lonely and just want to connect or you’d like to hear the full story of my real estate journey… my coffee offer is always open ☕🏡
