She moved to Alberta in 2000 for college, and called Calgary her home for the next 5 years. She has spent the last 16 years in Strathmore, where she raises her two kids with her husband. She is the daughter of a second generation beekeeper, and loves to take her kids back to Saskatchewan to show them all there is to know about living out in the country and how bees make honey! th honors from the Interior Design program at Lethbridge College. She spent the next 7 years working in the Kitchen design industry first as a draftsman but soon moved into the role of Sales and Design Associate working with the clients of many large home building companies. She loves all things about homes. Whether designing your home from the ground up, buying a fixer upper, or suggesting how to put a little touch of your own personality into an already existing home, Heather has years of experience behind her to help guide you. Being a 3rd generation breast cancer survivor, Heather knows how precious life is. Her two children and her husband are her world, and she loves being their chauffeur to the many sports and activities that they are involved in. She had put her goal of becoming a real estate agent on the back burner until her kids where older and the timing was right. That time has come, and she couldn't be more excited to share her passion, knowledge and sales experience with her clients to help them with their next chapter, whether it be buying or selling.

Some sales happen in a weekend.

Others take time.

This one took patience, perseverance, and a lot of trust. ✨

Over the past year and a half, we’ve navigated changing plans, offers that didn’t come together, taking the property off the market, relisting, and wondering if the right buyer would ever come along.

But through it all, we never gave up.

The SOLD sign is a wonderful milestone, but it isn’t the end of this story. We’ve spent the last while searching for the next place for my client (and friend) to call home, and being part of that next chapter has been just as meaningful as helping sell this beautiful acreage.

Moments like these remind me that real estate has never been just about houses. It’s about people, relationships, and helping someone move forward when the timing is right.

Calgary’s housing market stayed steady in June. Sales picked up from May, but remain slightly below last year’s pace as more homes continue to hit the market.

The biggest shift is in condominiums, where increased inventory has created more choice for buyers and put downward pressure on prices.

Detached homes are telling a different story. Inventory remains relatively tight, helping keep prices stable, with some neighbourhoods even reaching new record highs.

Overall, Calgary remains a balanced market, but conditions vary depending on the type of home you’re buying or selling.

For 16 years, Strathmore wasn’t just a community I worked in. It was home. 🏡

I built two homes there. My kids grew up there and went through the local school system. Some of my closest friendships and favourite memories were made in that community.

Even though life has taken me elsewhere, Strathmore has always remained part of my business because I genuinely believe in what this community has to offer.

Lately, something exciting has been happening!

With major investments like De Havilland Field and the new CGC manufacturing facility, Wheatland County is attracting attention for all the right reasons. While the headlines focus on the announcements themselves, I’m paying attention to what comes next and what it could mean for homeowners, investors, and the future of Strathmore. ✨
