🌧️🌊 Calgary’s rivers are rising fast as heavy rainfall continues across the region.
The Calgary Fire Department has issued a boating advisory for the Bow and Elbow Rivers, while rainfall warnings and high streamflow advisories remain in effect.
Right now, officials are warning residents about:
⚠️ Fast-moving water and strong currents
🚶 Pathway closures and unsafe riverbank conditions
The good news: widespread flooding is not currently expected, but river levels are still being closely monitored as additional rain moves through the region.
