Real Property Report or title insurance? They're not the same.
In Alberta, an RPR is a survey showing structures and fences vs. property lines plus municipal compliance. Title insurance is a policy for certain title-related risks — it doesn't replace an RPR where a contract or lender requires one.
Selling? An up-to-date RPR is commonly requested. Buying? Your lawyer reviews what applies to your deal.
