Much like our fall weather, Calgary’s housing market is cooling down too. But we’re not ready to settle in for winter just yet! There’s still plenty of activity and opportunity to make the most of this season.

And just like our unpredictable Calgary weather, not every part of the market is feeling the same chill! September’s benchmark price came in at $566,700, nearly 1% lower than last year, but some property types are holding up better than others.

Detached homes are showing resilience, with sales up 4% from last September, while increased condo and townhome supply is giving buyers more choices and greater negotiating power.
