We’re working through the millwork details for our latest home in The Pointe, and it's going to be beautiful.

Rift-cut white oak creates continuity throughout the home, but we’ve made sure each space still feels unique. From the kitchen and pantry to the mudroom, laundry, vanities, and lower-level bar, the cabinetry has its own details while still feeling connected. We’re also incorporating accent lighting throughout the open shelving and beneath the floating vanities, adding another layer to the millwork.

We love working through these details long before a home comes together on site. This is definitely one you’re going to want to follow along with.

Featuring our Sequoia III floor plan, developed specifically for the ridge lots in Phase 27.

Our Sequoia show home gets so much love, especially for its main-floor layout and flow. For Phase 27, we wanted to keep so many of those same features, but reconfigure the home to really maximize the backyard. By moving from a side-entry garage to a triple front-attached garage, we opened up the rear of the home and took full advantage of those incredible west-facing ravine views.

At 3,045 sq. ft., the Sequoia III features a large open kitchen, dining, and great room across the back; a main-floor office; three bedrooms upstairs; a generous bonus room; upper laundry; and a beautiful primary suite. And of course, this is simply the starting point. As with all our homes in Legacy, you have endless opportunities to customize the plan and make it your own.

Those west-facing sunsets are going to be pretty hard to beat. Which ridge lot would you choose?

My favourite space in our Sequoia show home, and one of the things I love most about this kitchen, is just how much of what you see is standard.

The cabinetry as shown, granite countertops, the appliance package, a panel-front dishwasher, and an integrated garbage and recycling centre are all included. We also give our clients the choice between an induction or gas cooktop.

This is the kitchen that comes with the Sequoia. No need to start adding upgrades to get the kitchen you fell in love with in the show home.

We love creating a beautiful blank canvas and imagining how each family will make it their own. This living room is a perfect example. The vaulted ceiling, oversized arch, fireplace and natural light already give the space so much character.

It’s amazing how soft drapery, layered textiles, artwork, furniture and a few carefully chosen accessories can completely transform a space. The architecture creates the foundation, and the finishing layers are what bring warmth, texture, and personality to the room.

Pantries have become a huge priority for so many of our clients, and we spend just as much time thinking about how they function as we do about how they look.

For some families, it’s all about beautifully organized food storage. For others, the pantry becomes a true extension of the kitchen, with a full-size freezer, microwave, secondary oven, an additional sink, or even a second dishwasher. We design each one around how that particular family cooks, entertains, and lives, because there really isn’t a one-size-fits-all pantry.

Some of the most important members of the family have four legs, and they deserve a space of their own too.

In one of our custom homes, we incorporated this sliding puppy door into the mudroom, giving our clients a safe spot for their dogs when no one was home and keeping them out of a little trouble at the same time.

Such a simple detail, but an adorable addition to an already hardworking mudroom. Would you add this to your home?

Our design team has been playing around with some concepts for our latest spec home in Phase 21, and we are loving where this one is headed. Everything you see in these renders is designed to stay within the home's standard allowances, from the kitchen and millwork to the lighting, flooring, and tile.

Just over 2,600 sq. ft., a triple front drive garage, directly across from the park, and a west-facing backyard. The floor plan features a beautiful open main level, a two-storey great room, three bedrooms, a bonus room, and an upper-floor laundry.

This home is available, so you still have the opportunity to make it your own. And I can assure you, the next-door neighbours are absolutely amazing!

There are details in a home you may not think twice about until you see and feel the difference.

Every closet in our homes, from the foyer and mudroom to secondary bedrooms, is built from solid lacquered MDF and includes heavy-duty closet rods. In the primary walk-in closet, our standard takes it further with a banks of shelving and a full bank of drawers for proper everyday storage. No wire shelving. No basic melamine systems.

It’s one of those details that can easily get overlooked when comparing homes, but once you see it, touch it and live with it, you absolutely notice the difference. Quality should carry through the entire home, even behind the closet doors.

Building a custom home means making a lot of decisions, but it shouldn’t feel overwhelming.

Sharing our Evergreen floor plan today, one of our personal favourites in Legacy. At 3,306 sq. ft. across the main and upper levels, we drew inspiration from many of our inner-city custom homes when developing this plan, and you can feel it in the way the main floor flows. A large kitchen, dedicated office, walk-in pantry, generous dining area, and great room all connect beautifully.

Upstairs, four spacious bedrooms, a large bonus room, upper laundry and a beautiful primary suite give everyone their own space.

And then there’s the split-three-car garage. Extra storage, a special car, a home gym or even a golf simulator, there are so many ways to make that extra garage your own. What would you use the single garage for?
