(January 2026 stats)

January gave us a clear picture of how the market is starting the year across Calgary, Airdrie, Chestermere, Cochrane, Okotoks, and Strathmore — and overall, things feel steady.

Inventory remains higher than we’ve seen in past years, sales are seasonally slower (which is normal for January), and prices are mostly holding depending on the community. It’s a market that rewards patience and good planning rather than rushing.

Here’s a quick “state of the market” snapshot:

🏙️ Calgary — Balanced conditions with steady demand

🏡 Airdrie — More inventory giving buyers breathing room
