This series of “favourite homes” wouldn’t be complete without a showcase of S+C’s gorgeous mountain home.
All the gorgeous features including the herringbone tile fireplace, the beautifully detailed cabinets to the ceiling, and so much more make this home magical. Add in the most beautiful view, and you have me hooked!
I admire the lovely very much for the way she shares her huge heart, and her knowledge on her page. I asked her a few questions about her beautiful home recently…
M- what is your favourite part of your home after living here for over a year?
S- So my absolute favourite part is the living room/kitchen area, we spend all of our time in there, and it’s the most breathtaking part in my opinion!
M - what would you change?
S- The things I would change are just details, like putting the microwave in the Butler’s pantry and doing a double oven, and then also extending the Butler’s pantry to have the whole pantry be the lower cabinets with countertop if that makes sense.
M- what advice would you give someone building?
S- Advice I would give to someone who is building is to pay attention to the little details that you wouldn’t want to go back and change yourself! Like, for example, I’m really glad we splurged and got our cabinets all the way up to the ceiling in the kitchen, because those things are harder to go back and do later on.
