Here’s what happened this week:

- Brought an inner-city home to market. Of course we did it with an ice cream truck 👊🏻😉at the open house... about 100 people came out!!!!!!
- Went pending on a condo for legacy clients. This is their fourth or fifth sale with us. A $2,000 price adjustment didn’t do it on its own, but the overall strategy did, and the $2,000 was part of it.
- Also got an offer on an inner-city home that’s a little tricky. See attached.

Watch for more on each of these.

Sales picked up compared to new listings this week. That means the market is picking up again.

What to really watch for is interest rates. There’s more talk of rates going up in the US, globally and here in Canada.

What does this mean? The market will move quickly and prices will go up, because people will move to get ahead of rates climbing.

It’s a little counterintuitive, but for real estate it means good things. Calgary’s market is strong fundamentally, and rising rates push sales volumes up.

Sellers – be patient. Buyers – be proactive, and know this is happening.

That’s a lot of groceries.

Conviction matches position.
If someone says you should do it, they should be willing to do it with you... at least to some extent. (So I tell our kids) and hey sometimes don’t do it.

But When it comes to staging, that’s often the case with our team.
