SEPTEMBER MARKET STATS ARE OUT! 📊

September sales in Calgary remained relatively stable compared to August, with stronger detached home sales helping to limit the typical seasonal slowdown. Overall sales were nearly 4% lower than last year, while balanced inventory and sales helped keep market conditions relatively steady. 🏡

Here’s a little breakdown:

• September sales were 3.8% lower year-over-year.
• New listings were 1.5% higher than last September.
• The benchmark price for all home types was $566,700.

Calgary’s housing market saw both sales activity and new listings trend lower in August compared with last year. While conditions varied by property type and price range, higher-priced homes continued to see gains in sales, reflecting continued confidence in the market. 🏡

• Calgary sales were 16% lower than last year.
• New listings were nearly 10% lower than the previous year.
• The benchmark price for all residential property types was $569,800.
