I really don't love doing what everyone else does. It's just never been comfortable for me.

For years, I've fought it; sometimes winning, often failing.
Somehow always thinking that chasing all the trends was the goal, and proof of success was owning all the material things.

If I could just get in, be accepted, be useful, be enough, then I'd finally feel like "hey, I'd finally made it. Hey everyone look at ME!"

But the older I get, the more I realize I don't want a life built around proving myself.

I want to feel calmer in my own body.
I want healthier habits.
I want space to breathe.
I want freedom to enjoy real life.
I want to show up for my wife and kids.

That shift has changed everything.

For all of you burned-out millennials, the real freedom is realizing REAL life is not about chasing everything we see procured on social media. .

It's deciding you don't need to justify comparing yourself to everyone else as proof you've made it.

Save this for the season you outgrow people-pleasing. 🧡
