Today’s run was a little different.

On my way to refill my water, I met an incredible woman who was volunteering her time to clean the public facilities we all use.

She told me how grateful she was to be in Canada and how she simply wanted to give back.

It was one of those small moments that sticks with you.

We all have busy lives, and I don’t think anyone expects us to spend hours cleaning a public space. But maybe it’s as simple as picking up a piece of garbage in a parking lot, putting an extra shopping cart away, holding the door for someone, or taking a few seconds to make someone else’s day a little easier.

Today was a good reminder that small acts of kindness matter.

And people like her are proof that there are still some truly amazing people out there quietly making the world better, one small act at a time.

Happy Canada Day 🇨🇦

I have never really been a very patriotic person but today was certainly full of cliche Canadian activities. Kid had poutine for lunch, I rock the red and white on the bike ride today and wrapped up the day with some hockey for the kiddos.

Definitely one of the best 🇨🇦 I have had and there are still some amazing people out there. Really greatful to have made the friends we have.
