The October 2024 market update shows that while prices remain high, there is an increase in available inventory in certain price ranges. According to CREB’s media release, the market is easing from the tight conditions of spring, yet it remains constrained with 2.3 months of supply and a 67 percent sales-to-new listings ratio. It’s important to note that supply levels vary greatly by price range and property type. As we transition into the typically slower fall market expect activity to stay on the lower side, but as we get into the new year, things should pick up with the lower interest rates. ⁠
