🌞 **Extended Heat + Little Rain? Here's How to Help Your Lawn & Landscape Thrive!** 🌿

With these hot temperatures sticking around and very little moisture in the forecast, your lawn and plants are under extra stress. Here are a few simple things you can do to keep your landscape healthy:

💧 **Water deeply, not daily.** Aim for long, thorough watering early in the morning so moisture reaches the roots before the heat of the day.

🌱 **Don't cut your grass too short.** Keep your mower blade a little higher to help shade the soil and retain moisture.

🚫 **Hold off on fertilizing.** Fertilizer can add extra stress during extreme heat unless you're following a specific watering plan.

🍂 **Add or refresh mulch.** A layer of mulch around trees, shrubs, and flower beds helps lock in moisture and keeps roots cooler.

🚶 **Limit foot traffic.** Dry, heat-stressed grass is more susceptible to damage.

🌳 **Watch for signs of stress.** Wilting, curling leaves, or brown patches are signs your landscape may need some extra attention.

A little care now can make a big difference when the temperatures finally cool down. If you have questions about keeping your lawn and landscape healthy during this heat wave, we're happy to help!

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and don't forget—your lawn is thirsty too! 🌞💦
