COVID-19 continues to be a very large part of everyone’s day-to-day life and also continues to have a huge impact on our real estate market.

Property sales in April for Calgary, Bearspaw and surrounding areas were down almost 60% compared to April of 2019. Clearly, a large number of people are holding off on their plans to buy or sell. However, looking at the range of the sale prices for each year is quite interesting. In 2019, there were sales with a low sale price of $16,000 and a high of $5,200,000. The range this past April is not much different from last year. This April, the lowest sale price was $13,500, and the highest was $4,500,000. People are still purchasing in all price ranges.
